Kathleen Petty

Jet setting is always an adventure for me. I really caught the wanderlust bug while living in Spain as a young adult. Seeing new places, new cultures and new people opened my eyes to a "whole new world" that was fascinating and wonderful; I just can't get enough. I was born, raised, went to church and married in the Western part of the United States. I attended college and pursued a degree in Elementary Education with minors in Spanish, Music and Early Childhood Education. In 2006, I graduated with a Masters Degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction. My senior year of college, I also got married. Soon I was off to Arizona to teach school in a Intercity School in Phoenix--the kids were great!!! During that year, I became pregnant and for medical reasons had to resign from my teaching job. Most of the time, I was a stay-at-home Mother. I spent my free time with friends, family, my church and my community trying to promote good. Some of the career pursuits I have taken on in my life are: Teacher-Bilingual 2nd Grade, Kindergarten, Music K-12 and High School Spanish. I have 2 children, male and female, and I take care of a mentally challenged sibling. When I wasn't teaching school in the Public's view, I was teaching my own children through Homeschooling. My interests include: Travel, Brazilin Embroidery, movies from documentaries to sappy love stories, learning about the world around me, DIY, art, sewing, I like everything. My bucket list-too far and wide: skydiving, parasailing, hang gliding, zip lining in Costa Rica, scuba diving, European excursion, Egypt, Africa and anywhere else with a beach.
